THAILAND. Airports of Thailand (AoT) has posted a +23.3% rise in international passengers to 3,519,782 for the month of April.
Total passengers (including domestic) for the month hit 5,596,491 – a growth of +21.9% compared to the previous year.
The figures cover AoT’s entire national airport network, which is made up of Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang in Bangkok, as well as Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai and Chiang Rai.
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport recorded a +22.8% rise in international passengers to 3,146,399 during April. Including domestic traffic, the total number of passengers hit 4,006,646 – an increase of +19.5% over the previous year.
