Al Fakher makes Cannes debut with experiential shisha lounge

Shisha tobacco specialist Al Fakher is ready to make its debut at TFWA World Exhibition this year with a branded shisha lounge that is open to all visitors (Bay Terrace T12).

A majorplayer in premium shisha molasses and shisha accessories, Al Fakher claims a 40% share of the global shisha tobacco market. Its brand portfolio includes over 100 flavours, hookah pipes and accessories.

As reported, travel retail is an integral part of Al Fakher’s business. The company said it had delivered strong growth in the channel, adding that its recent focus has produced “excellent results”. Al Fakher said its has added 14 new locations to its network and expects its global distribution footprint in travel retail to increase further this year.

“This success is helping the category’s growth as a whole,” Al Fakher said. “Shisha tobacco’s year-on-year growth in travel retail is in the double digits, and that growth is expected to continue in coming years.”

At the Cannes event, Al Fakher will present an experiential Shisha lounge to encourage visitors to try its shisha flavours and products.
