INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to announce the Travel Retail Women’s World Cup 2023 Predictor Competition – our second such competition to focus on women’s sport and with women’s charities set to benefit.
The competition, open to anyone involved in the aviation and travel retail sector (mandatory) and free of charge, is based on match predictions for the 32-team 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The tournament runs from Thursday 20 July until 20 August in Australia and New Zealand.
The Moodie Davitt Report and its generous partners Diageo Global Travel, Blueprint, The Moodie Davitt Report, Aer Rianta International (ARI), King Power Group (Hong Kong), Purple, Qatar Duty Free and Victorinox are generously sponsoring the competition.
The balance (including contribution from any additional sponsors) will be donated to the Koma Karanth Foundation, Women in Travel+’s (WiTR+) chosen charity for 2023.
Every cent of sponsorship goes to charity. Additionally, The Moodie Davitt Report will donate US$20 to the Koma Karanth Foundation for each entrant to encourage participation.
The Moodie Davitt Report Publisher Irene Revilla said, “We are delighted to champion women in sport just as we champion women in our travel retail industry. And what a brilliant cause – the Koma Karanth Foundation, Women in Travel Retail+’s nominated charity for 2023 – we are supporting, alongside other women’s charities.”
The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie added, “We hope the travel retail community will support this fun but also valuable celebration of women in sport and by implication in our industry. Please take part and help us to support a great cause.”

The rules of the contest are simple. Qualified readers simply need to register with the site and then will be asked to provide a score prediction for every match. Reminders to post your score will be issued before each round for those who haven’t done so.
Entrants will receive 3 points for an exact score prediction and 1 point if they predict the correct result (win or draw) without getting the score correct.
