SPAIN. Ãreas has partnered with Burger King to open a branch of the American fast-food chain in Terminal 2 at Barcelona El Prat Airport.
The opening of the restaurant is part of an agreement between the two companies which in recent months has involved an investment of €3.2 million in four new locations at Madrid and Barcelona airports. The partnership will eventually cover 20 outlets at airports and motorway service stations.
Covering more than 560sq m and with capacity for 250 guests, the latest branch – located between modules 2 and 3 in the check-in area – has been opened after an investment of more than €700,000 and features Burger King’s latest designs.
