SPAIN. Global travel restaurateur Areas has opened the Kabuki restaurant in Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport Terminal 4, its latest partnership with a leading Spanish culinary brand.
The 143sq m, 50-cover airside venue is a collaboration with Kabuki Group, known for its two high-class restaurants in Madrid and a third in Portuguese capital Lisbon.

The restaurants are well-known for their menus, which feature an innovative fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisines.
Under the guidance of Executive Chef Alejandro Durán, who leads the Kabuki Group and holds a Michelin star, Areas has created an airport menu to reflect this culinary style.

Areas said, “Designed to meet the needs of today’s travellers, the restaurant combines sophistication and comfort, featuring a distinctive interior design, a renewed culinary offer that includes breakfast service for the first time, and an enhanced beverage selection – all complemented by attentive and approachable service.

“The menu has been created to offer travellers the possibility of enjoying a premium dining experience in a short time, without compromising on quality or creativity.”
