TÜRKİYE. ATÜ Duty Free, a subsidiary of TAV Airports and the Unifree Duty Free/Gebr. Heinemann joint venture, has been named among the best places for women to work in Türkiye.
The travel retailer was one of 36 organisations – selected from a long list of 355 – as ‘2025 Best Workplaces for Women’, compiled by the Great Place to Work Türkiye Institute.

The final list was based on feedback from over 200,000 employees and Trust Index survey data.
The research singled out employers that adopt an inclusive and trust-based workplace culture. ATÜ also ranked highly among 13 companies in the category of companies with over 500 employees.
President and CEO Ersan Arcan said, “We believe that our human capital is our most valuable asset. We attach great importance to developing sustainable policies, especially for the empowerment of our women employees, their career development and ensuring they feel happy in a safe work environment.
“We are proud that our efforts under the umbrella of people, culture, and sustainability, carried out with this approach, have been certified by an independent and global authority like Great Place To Work Türkiye, earning us a place on the ‘Best Workplaces for Women’ list.
“Increasing the number of women leaders and professionals in a dynamic field like travel retail, and creating an ecosystem where they can fully realise their potential, are among our biggest goals.
“This achievement also serves as proof of our commitment to supporting the equal representation and development of women at every level of our company. We will continue to work with determination to further advance our inclusive and egalitarian work culture at ATÜ.” ✈
