Aveda has extended its Dry Remedy hair collection with a new Daily Moisturizing Oil. The daily, leave-in treatment is being rolled out to the brand’s travel retail locations in the Americas and Asia Pacific this month.
Formulated without silicones, Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil was developed to work effectively on all hair textures to deliver superior moisturisation both inside and outside, according to the brand. Its key ingredient is organic buriti oil (harvested from the fruit of Brazil’s Moriche Palm tree) which penetrates hair to instantly increase its moisture by +41%, without leaving behind any greasy residue.
“Buriti oil provides an instant luxe feeling on the hair,” noted Tippi Shorter, Aveda Global Artistic Director for Textured Hair. “It’s lightweight so it doesn’t weigh hair down.”
In addition to the new Daily Moisturizing Oil, Aveda’s Dry Remedy range also includes a Moisturizing Shampoo, Moisturizing Conditioner and Moisturizing Masque.
