UK. Avolta UK has marked 20 years of partnership with One Water as fundraising through sales of the ethical bottled water brand in its World Duty Free stores surpasses £3.35 million (US$4.5 million), supporting clean water and sanitation projects across Africa.
The partnership began in 2006, with Avolta among the first retailers to stock the brand.

Since then, proceeds from One Water sales through World Duty Free stores in UK airports, as well as outlets at Eurotunnel and St Pancras International Train Station, have funded projects through The One Foundation in countries including Malawi, Ghana, Rwanda and Kenya.
According to One Water, the funds raised have helped provide access to clean water for more than 509,000 people, supporting initiatives such as the rehabilitation of water points and the installation of solar-powered water systems serving communities, schools and health clinics.
The milestone coincides with the completion of One Water’s 2026 Travel Trade Awareness Tour, which visited 31 World Duty Free locations between 2 June and 24 July.
Led by One Water Founder Duncan Goose, the annual programme thanks frontline teams for their support while providing updates on projects funded through the partnership.
The tour also marked the 20th anniversary of One Water and The One Foundation.

Avolta UK Commercial Director Eve Fifer said: “Twenty years of partnership with One Water is a milestone our teams can be proud of. Through World Duty Free, our colleagues have helped turn a simple customer choice into long-term support for communities where access to clean water remains a challenge.
“This partnership reflects the kind of practical, sustained impact we believe in: connecting our teams, customers and partners behind an initiative that improves everyday life for people and supports the wellbeing of the communities around them.”
One Water Founder Duncan Goose commented, “World Duty Free has been part of the One Water journey from the very beginning, and the commitment shown by Avolta’s teams over the past 20 years has made a real difference.
“The funds raised through this partnership have supported water and sanitation projects that are improving daily life for hundreds of thousands of people.
“Visiting stores each year is a powerful reminder of how much can be achieved when colleagues and customers come together behind one clear purpose.”
