Bedingham out as Moët Hennessy names Lacave to key Asia Pacific role

Moët Hennessy Wines & Spirits has announced a flurry of new appointments, beginning with Jean-Marc Lacave as President and Regional Managing Director of Moët Hennessy Asia Pacific.

Mark Bedingham: A much-respected figure in the Asia Pacific wines & spirits sector and a member of the DFS Group board

Lacave, a member of the company’s Comité Opérationnel, will replace the deeply respected Mark Bedingham who has been a pivotal figure in the development of Moët Hennessy in Asia Pacific and has made the decision to leave the company after 20 years. Bedingham is also a member of the board of DFS Group.

Based in Hong Kong, Lacave will report to Moët Hennessy Wines & Spirits Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Christophe Navarre. He will begin his handover with Bedingham from 15 September.

The company has also appointed Jean-Marc Gallot as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Maison Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, effective 1 September. Based in Reims and Paris, he reports also to Christophe Navarre and remains a member of the Comité Opérationnel.

Moët Hennessy Wines & Spirits Executive Vice President – Distribution Hugues Pietrini will now be in charge of Ruinart, Krug, Millennium and Glenmorangie, in addition to his current responsibilities, effective 1 September. He reports to Christophe Navarre and remains a member of the Comité Opérationnel.
