Beecher’s Handmade Cheese claims F&B management at Paine Field airport

USA. Airport developer and operator Propeller Airports will partner with Beecher’s Handmade Cheese in food & beverage outlets at Paine Field airport.

Paine Field, which is also known as Snohomish County Airport, is a small international airport serving part of the Seattle metropolitan area in the US state of Washington. A new passenger terminal is scheduled to open next year.

“Bringing civility back to air travel”: Paine Field is counting down to the opening of its new terminal.

Beecher’s Handmade Cheese is a popular Seattle and New York City artisan cheesemaker. The company will operate gate side and baggage claim food concessions as the sole food concessionaire for the terminal. Its parent company, Sugar Mountain, will operate an Upper Case wine bar, featuring local Pacific Northwest wines and cocktails, and a Caffe Vita coffee kiosk.

Beecher’s operates a Caffe Vita outlet at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Concourse C.

Beecher’s Handmade Cheese Founder Kurt Beecher Dammeier said: “We love being a part of a traveller’s special experience as they pass through an airport, and Paine Field is an upscale terminal that represents an exciting new opportunity to do just that here in Everett.”

Say cheese and you will find it, along with Beecher’s ‘World’s Best’ Mac & Cheese, at the Paine Field outlets.

The Beecher’s Handmade Cheese Café menu will include Pike Place grilled-to-order sandwiches, hot soups, and Beecher’s ‘World’s Best’ Mac & Cheese, which features the company’s Flagship and Just Jack cheeses. Food from the Beecher’s café will also be available for order at Upper Case.

Propeller Airports CEO Brett Smith commented: “The vision behind Paine Field has always been to bring civility back to air travel while making the experience enjoyable and pain-free for passengers.

“The Sugar Mountain brands joining us in the terminal will ensure not only high-quality concessions but the kind of personalised care and service they have a well-earned reputation for at their locations throughout the USA.”
