Benelux Travel Retail Association President Jacques Parson hosted the 20th anniversary evening |
BELGIUM. The Benelux Travel Retail Association (BTRA) has celebrated its 20th anniversary with a gala dinner in Antwerp. The event took place on 26 November.
The event was organised by Jacques Parson, President of the association, and was attended by many leading figures from the travel retail trade, among them European Travel Retail Council President Frank O’Connell as guest of honour.
The association said: “During this event the BTRA’s achievements where highlighted but, more importantly, the vision and the way forward were set out to face the future challenges that the travel retail world will encounter.”
The dinner was preceded by a conference during the afternoon, hosted by Jacques Parson and Frank O’Connell, which discussed the future of airport travel retail.
The BTRA said: “This event will long be remembered as a wonderful occasion on which friends, old and new, shared ideas, accompanied by an exquisite meal, pleasant music and lots of humour.”
