UK. Promotions agency Blackjack has announced the formation of the Airport Promotion Agencies network (APA). APA has been created to support and develop promotional activity in 70 airports across Europe.
The partnership, overseen by Blackjack CEO Behzad Saednejad, will provide design and creative capabilities as well as trained security-cleared staff to create and activate promotional activities for airports, retailers and brands in airport duty free zones.
The APA partnership offers the pooled resources of ten specialist promotions agencies across Europe. Airports, retailers and brands will benefit from state-of-the-art training and recruitment facilities, access to 20,000 trained sales and customer service staff where promotional activity is required, said the organisation.
“APA will improve and set the standard for airport promotional activity anywhere in Europe,” explained Saednejad. “It will provide an organisation with all the tools necessary for setting up and activating promotions. Airports, retailers and brands will benefit from the wealth of experience, resources, facilities and expertise to effectively run branded activity in airports to drive sales.”
