Bottega and Chef Express, part of the Cremonini Group, have opened a new restaurant at Milan-Malpensa Airport.
‘Gourmé & Bottega’, in Terminal 1 Arrivals, aims to offer quality food, along with a selection of wines and spirits, for quick consumption by the travelling consumer.

Its official opening on 8 June was attended by Società Esercizi Aeroportuali (SEA) Commercial Director of the Non-Aviation Department Luigi Battuello, Chef Express CEO Cristian Biasoni and Bottega President Sandro Bottega.
“While the brand Gourmé specialised in regional typical products of Italian gastronomy, especially DOP and IGP cured meats, Bottega has put food and wine matching at the heart of its ‘Bottega Prosecco Bar’ concept,” said Sandro Bottega.

“The partnership between Chef Express and Bottega adds the experience of a leading group in the dining business to the wine-making tradition of a leading company in global travel retail.”
Chef Express operates two other bars, Juice Bar and Mokà, in the same area. “The three spaces are linked by the will to please the airport customers with different and complementary proposals, at different times of the day,” the company stated.
Chef Express manages the catering activities of the Cremonini Group, with 144 points of sale in 48 railway stations and 68 outlets in nine Italian airports.
