UK. Bristol Airport is teaming up with travel food & beverage specialists SSP and local entrepreneurs, BeepTreat, to trial a new mobile app in the airport’s cafés, bars and restaurants.
The BeepTreat app gives passengers access to offers and discounts using their mobile smartphones and enables loyalty points to be collected in the process. Available as a free download, the BeepTreat app can be installed by customers using the airport’s free WiFi access.

Once downloaded, BeepTreat, makes a range of savings instantly accessible. Offers are redeemed by simply showing the voucher on your phone to a member of staff when making a purchase. Participating outlets in the terminal include Soho Coffee, Bar Zero9, Dexters Chargrill & Bar, and Burger King. Example offers include free fries and a drink with any Burger King meal.
Bristol Airport Retail Manager Tom Hack said: “BeepTreat is another example of technology enhancing the travel experience. It gives passengers access to a range of discounts and deals which will help them to get the most out of their time at Bristol Airport. It also helps us gain a better understanding of what our customers want, enabling us to tailor our offer accordingly in future.”

The launch of BeepTreat follows the introduction of the QikServe app which enables customers in Bristol Airport’s bars and restaurants to order food and drink from their smartphones.
