UK-based jewellery company Buckley London last month showcased several new collections from its Buckley London and Bouton brands at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore. The three-day tradeshow also saw a positive response from buyers to its new merchandising and display concepts, the company reported.
Focusing on affordable luxury, Buckley London unveiled its Simplicity Bead Bracelets, drawing inspiration from “the healing beauty of power beads”. The trio of bracelets, available in gold, rose gold and rhodium tones, can be stacked on the wrist for a layered look. They are finished with crystals and are elasticated to fit any wrist size, making them suitable for gifting.
The company also presented a new range of animal brooches from the Adrian Buckley Signature collection. Adorned with cubic zirconia stones and finished with gold-plated detailing, the brooches – with designs including an elephant, flamingo and bumblebee – add “a unique twist to any outfit”, according to Buckley London.

Buckley London Global Sales Director Neil Thompson commented: “TFWA Asia Pacific has long been an important show for us as the Asia Pacific region is a major focus for the company. The show always provides the opportunity for us to showcase our latest designs to potential customers, whilst presenting new offerings to current ones.
“Over the three days, there was a real buzz around the stand and we enjoyed a number of positive meetings. Feedback from potential customers has shown that our products remain competitive and commercial. There has also been great feedback for our display concepts, as well as the self-select stands.”
Thompson continued: “Rolling out these new developments ties in with our two-year growth strategy – a big focus of which is in the travel retail sector. Continuing to provide exciting products will help with expansion within the Asia region and beyond, and will ensure the best class of product for our retail partners.”
The company remains “very optimistic” of its growth in the travel retail sector over the next few years, he added, with new additions to the sales force to aid expansion throughout every region.
Buckley London is now ranked among The Sunday Times’ top 100 SMEs in the UK |
In other news, Buckley London has entered The Sunday Times BT Business SME Export Track 100 league table, which ranks Britain’s 100 private small & medium-sized (SME) companies with the fastest-growing international sales over the latest two years. It is compiled by UK networking events company Fast Track and published in British national Sunday newspaper The Sunday Times each May.
SMEs were ranked according to the compound annual growth in their international sales, based on their latest figures. To successfully meet the league table criteria, company sales have to be between £5 million and £25 million in the latest financial year, with exports having to account for at least 20% of total sales.
Buckley London is said to be one of only eight companies in the Yorkshire region to make the list this year, with an annual sales increase of +37%. Today the family-owned company supplies internationally to over 100 airport locations, 140 airlines, 300 high street locations and cruise ships, from their head office in Yorkshire.
Commenting on the company’s inclusion, Buckley London Founder and CEO Adrian Buckley said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised as one of the country’s leading SMEs. From small beginnings in Yorkshire over 25 years ago, we have worked relentlessly to get the company in the desirable position it is in today. We now have a global presence and are one of the leading retailers of costume jewellery. We believe this is only the beginning and have strong plans for a continued growth over the next two years.”
