Fashion Buenos Aires: InterBaires introduces a distinctly Latin, definitively Argentinean offer at Ezeiza Airport |
ARGENTINA. Duty free retailer InterBaires has captured the excitement of a country and a city in the retailer’s stunning new local fashion store.
Called ‘Fashion Buenos Aires’, the shop opened earlier this month at Buenos Aires Ezeiza Airport.
The store features Argentinean fashion exclusively. As part of our long-term championing of quality destination merchandise, The Moodie Report is proud to showcase ‘Fashion Buenos Aires’ via our popular Picture Gallery service.
CEO Enrique Urioste told The Moodie Report that he believes that local fashion will generate incremental revenue rather than dilute existing duty free spend. The store is positioned after the main duty free offer.
In related news, InterBaires will open its much-anticipated new-look Ezeiza stores in terminals A and B in August after the July winter holidays.
These include “˜Shop 21′, a 1,200sq m (12,912sq ft) arrivals store in terminal A, featuring a complete walk-through area so passengers cannot avoid the area. “˜Shop 1′ in terminal B (served by Aerolineas Argentinas) will gain a 1,000sq m (10,760sq ft) dual-purpose arrivals/departures shop, which offers a sharp increase in space from the former 400sq m (4,304sq ft).
