ITALY. Bvlgari Parfums presented the latest extension to its Source Defense skincare collection at last month’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes. Source Defense Serum Anti-Aging Energy Booster is claimed to deliver younger looking skin after just seven days’ use.
The treatment is said to offer targeted protection of mitochondria, the source of cell energy for glowing, youthful skin. The formula features Bvlgari Gem Essence®, a cell-energy booster designed to re-stimulate energy production, the vital force in the life cycle of cells, which is disrupted by daily exposure to the harmful effects of free radicals, pollution, UV rays and stress.
Another key ingredient is the Thioneine-Ec-Complex, which combines a powerful anti-oxidant effect with protection for the skin’s Langerhans cells.
Source Defense Serum Anti-Aging Energy Booster is a versatile product, suitable for use on all skin types and by all consumer ages, according to Bvlgari. The light gel formula is presented in a 30ml pump flacon, and is priced domestically at around €100.
