ITALY. Italian airport operator Società Aeroporto di Catania has released a Request for Proposals for the food & beverage and retail activities at Catania-Vincenzo Bellini Airport.

The tender is divided into 22 packages covering 23 stores and the contracts will run for five years starting in November and December 2012, depending on the expiration dates of previous contracts.

The deadline for submitting proposals is 27 June 2012.

In 2011 Vincenzo Bellini, Southern Italy’s leading airport, handled 6.7 million passengers (+7.5%) – 5.4 million domestic and 1.3 million international.
