Airport Hospitality World: Air India unveils flagship Maharaja Lounge in Mumbai; Aspire lounge opens at Copenhagen Airport

Structured around two access tiers, the Aspire Executive Lounge’s design reflects Copenhagen’s architectural heritage and contemporary Scandinavian design ethos.
The upgraded lounge spans 1,067sq m and offers seating for 262 guests; the design blends contemporary aesthetics with elements of Saudi heritage.
The new Plaza Premium Group Anadolu Lounge forms part of a broader expansion plan that will see the company operate four lounges at the airport by the 2026 summer season.
Located next to the 080 International Lounge, Gate Z incorporates fluid passenger pathways, social-first zones and intuitive layouts, complemented by curved seating, ambient lighting and interactive areas for work, relaxation, socialising and quiet moments.

Offered in terminals 1 and 2, the platform provides Meet & Assist, Porter and Luggage services, Valet Parking, Luxury Limousine, Arrival Lounge access and Flower Services, available across departures, arrivals and transit.
A key addition will be the arrival of UK casual-dining brand Wagamama through TRG Concessions in a 363sq m space with seating for 180 diners, as well as an executive lounge aimed at business travellers.
The opening represents a strategic milestone in the company’s European expansion, bringing its signature hospitality experience to travellers through an elevated lounge concept.
The company, part of TAV Airports and Groupe ADP, said the new partnership reinforces its focus on service excellence across premium airport hospitality operations worldwide.
The study found that 47% of respondents travel for wellness experiences, 20% for sports-related trips and 33% for a combination of both, reflecting a shift towards what the report describes as “passion pursuits”.
The 1,200sq m space builds on the strong performance of the first Kyra Lounge and offers seating for 230 guests along with dining, relaxation and work-friendly areas.
