Chanel has unveiled a limited-edition Denim makeup collection, translating the aesthetic codes of the fabric into a seasonal colour cosmetics offer. It is now available in selected Chanel doors in global travel retail.
Developed under the creative direction of Cometes Collectives member Valentina Li, the collection centres on washed blue tones complemented by neutrals and metallic accents.
The makeup line is supported by a global advertising campaign starring Chanel Brand Ambassador Lily-Rose Depp.
The range is anchored by the Coco Denim Exclusive Creation highlighter, which offers a pearly powder formula with blue and pink reflective accents.
For the eyes, Chanel has launched two limited-edition Les 4 Ombres palettes (Denim Dream and Coco Jean), two Stylo Yeux Waterproof liners and a Noir Allure mascara in Indigo.
Denim Dream comprises platinum pearly highlighter, matte dusty pink, satiny baby blue and shimmery blue anthracite shades.
Coco Jean comprises shimmery azur blue, shimmery silver anthracite, beige gold and satiny taupe brown shades.
The colour combinations are designed to evoke the tonal variations associated with denim finishes, from washed effects to deeper indigo shades.
The Stylo Yeux Waterproof liners have been reimagined in Bleu Twill (satiny blue anthracite) and Bleu Métal (metallic blue).
The Rouge Coco Flash lip balm line has been expanded with four shades: Baby Blue (pearlescent with blue reflects), Washed Beige (caramel beige), Faded Orange (scorched orange) and Raw Brown (muted medium brown).
Nail colour has been extended with Le Vernis 419 Légende, a deep metallic blue shade.
In addition, the House’s La Crème Main hand cream has been reimagined with a denim pouch, extending the collection beyond colour cosmetics. ✈
