Chicago O’Hare Airport expands F&B offering with Butcher & The Burger in Terminal 5

Butcher & The Burger serves up a Chicago-inspired dining experience in O’Hare International Airport Terminal 5

USA. The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) has officially unveiled Butcher & the Burger in O’Hare International Airport Terminal 5.

CDA Commissioner Jamie L. Rhee said: “I’m proud to welcome another Chicago institution to our world-class concessions programme in O’Hare’s modernised Terminal 5. By bringing in diverse local businesses to the airports, we are investing in Chicago’s communities while offering travellers from all over the world a taste of what our city has to offer.”

Originally located in Lincoln Park, Chicago, Butcher & The Burger is a mix of an old-fashioned butcher shop and a fast-casual burger joint, popular among locals since opening in 2011.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony officially marks the inauguration of Butcher & The Burger at Chicago O’Hare Airport

Butcher & The Burger Managing Partner Joseph Arnold said: “For more than a decade, our BYO burger spot at Armitage and Kenmore has been a go-to for Chicagoans craving comfort food staples. Now we’re thrilled to bring our signature flavours to one of the world’s busiest airports, offering travellers a true taste of the Windy City.”

The restaurant offers some of its best-selling breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Diners can personalise their prime beef, turkey or vegan lentil burgers with an assortment of fresh toppings.

The menu also features grilled chicken sandwiches, salads and more, as well as hand-crafted cocktails, spirits, wine and beer.

Butcher & The Burger is open daily from 5:30am to 8:30pm. ‍
