New Head of Travel Retail Claudia Rosenberg |
Chocolat Frey has promoted Claudia Rosenberg to Head of Travel Retail worldwide, effective 1 October. She joined the company two years ago and is responsible for major key accounts as well as all customers in the Americas.
Jeannette Jenni will continue to assist the sales team but is now also joining forces with Promotion Manager Kjartan Nielsen on the promotional side. Nielsen, who joined the travel retail team in May, reports to Rosenberg and is responsible for the execution of promotions, merchandising, staff trainings and the brand’s presence at the POS.
Following the retirement of Bonardo Travel Retail’s Alain Bonardo, who has contributed considerably in building the Frey brand in travel retail, the company has appointed Su-Shuin Kam as its Travel Retail Consultant in the Asia Pacific region, effective 1 October.
Reporting to Rosenberg, Kam is said to have a longstanding track record in the confectionery category and a profound knowledge of the Asian travel retail market. In her new role, she will be meeting Chocolat Frey’s customers at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (stand number: Blue Village H27) for the first time.
Export Manager Travel Retail Jacques Isler will continue as Sales Manager responsible for various key accounts in different markets.
“I’m happy to have found in both Kjartan and Su-Shuin two experienced travel retail professionals and strong personalities, and I’m sure that they will contribute strongly to further building our brand and deepening our relationships with our partners around the world,” Rosenberg said.
