UK. Clinique has expanded its make-up portfolio with a new line, called Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine (left). It is described as a multi-purpose, high-shine gloss that instantly and over time makes lips appear fuller, softer and more contoured.
The formula is said to offer an immediate plumping effect, while moisturising lips. On application, lips may experience a mild, tingling sensation and can look up to +30% fuller, with the effect lasting up to six hours, according to Clinique.
Key ingredients include Capsicum Frutescens Fruit Extract, Zingiber Officinale (also known as ginger root oil) and magnifying pearls (said to deliver an immediate 3-D visual effect).
Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine is rolling out in travel retail worldwide this month. The gloss is presented in a clear tube with a silver cap applicator, and is available in 10 shades.
In other news, Clinique has introduced two new travel retail exclusive Colour Surge Lip & Eye Compacts. Each features a selection of the company’s best-selling eye shadows and lipsticks, presented in a sleek compact.
There are two colourways: Nudes and Pinks. The former contains four Colour Surge Eye Shadows and four Long Last Soft Shine Lipsticks.
The latter features four Colour Surge Eye Shadows, two Long Last Soft Shine Lipsticks and two Colour Surge Lipsticks.
