Clinique targets male travellers with the revamped Clinique for Men

Clinique for Men’s new Moisturizing Lotion

Clinique has relaunched its men’s skincare collection, which now offers a curated portfolio of specialist cleansing, moisturising, exfoliating, shaving and grooming products. The new Clinique for Men line will be introduced to travel retail worldwide from February.

“Today men are a more empowered, educated consumer with a stronger eye on grooming,” noted Clinique Senior Vice President, Global Marketing Agnes Landau. “More men are shopping for themselves, compared to a decade ago. Now, one in four men uses some form of skin care and they are looking for “˜made for men’ products that speak to their specific grooming concerns. The New Clinique for Men is designed to present [them] with innovative, custom-fit grooming solutions on their terms.”

The collection, described as easy to navigate, is being supported by a Men’s Skin Care diagnostic tool, in line with the masculine preference for a self-serve approach. Using software exclusive to Clinique on the Apple iPad, the diagnostic tool helps to identify men’s skin type (normal/dry or normal/oily), and subsequently processes numerous product combinations to precisely address their personal skin care needs.

The tool also allows men to browse by category or scan a product barcode to find out more. At the end of the analysis, men may choose to print a list of custom-fit product recommendations including order of use directions, or receive an email with the information.

Clinique’s long-standing philosophy of cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise still underpins the offer. Key products include the Face Wash, Face Soap, Exfoliating Tonic, and the new Moisturizing Lotion, Oil-Control Mattifying Moisturizer and Anti-Age Moisturizer.
