DENMARK. Some 19 million passengers used Copenhagen Airport in 2004, marking an increase of +7.5% year-on-year.
International traffic reached 17.4 million, growing +8% from 2003, a year when travel was affected by the Iraq war and SARS. Domestic traffic was recorded at 1.6 million, increasing +1.7% from 2003.
For the month of December, international traffic grew +6.7% year-on-year.
The company said that the full-year result “maintains” Copenhagen Airport’s position as “Scandinavia’s largest airport”.
