DENMARK. Copenhagen Airports (CPH) has positively revised its 2024 revenue forecast in the light of a busy summer and increased passenger traffic expectations for the remainder of the year.
Full-year revenue is expected to grow at around +24% year-on-year (up from +20%), with CPH now predicting approximately 29.8 million passengers (up from 29 million) across the year.

The airport company noted that should passenger numbers reach that level, profit before tax is forecasted to be between DKK1.25 billion (US$190 million) and DKK1.40 billion (US$210 million), up from DKK1.15–1.35 billion (US$170-200 million), mainly supported by passenger volume growth. This will likely be partly offset by an increasing share of transfer passengers, it added.
However, CPH cautioned that the economic outlook remains uncertain because of the ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic situation. Any deterioration in these factors could negatively impact travel sentiment and its financial outlook, it warned.
As reported, last month CPH posted a +6% year-on-year rise in first-half non-aeronautical revenues to DKK929 million (US$137.1 million) and a +24% increase in total revenues to DKK2,355 million (US$347.5 million). ✈
