DENMARK. Copenhagen Airports A/S (CPH) has tendered the contracts covering the indoor and outdoor advertising concession at Copenhagen and Roskilde airports, through The Moodie Report.
The new contracts will begin on 1 January 2010.
In 2007, the advertising concession delivered a total turnover of DKK37.8 million (€5 million). Copenhagen is the largest airport in Scandinavia with a total of 21.4 million passengers in 2007.
CPH has experienced an average annual passenger growth of +2.4 % from 2000 to 2008, which has further improved business opportunities for its partners. By heavily investing in airport infrastructure, CPH said it seeks to continue this development in the future.
It commented: “By calling for tenders CPH wishes to test the market value for advertising and give room for future development of the concession in terms of positioning CPH as an exclusive, high end advertising product.
Companies interested in participating in the tender will be able to download an “˜Expression of Interest – pre-qualification document’ explaining the process in detail on www.cph.dk/CPH/UK/B2B/Tender.
Expressions of interest must be submitted to CPH no later than 3 February 2009.
