Kylie Cosmetics is celebrating a milestone ten-year anniversary with the launch of the limited-edition King Kylie Collection. The makeup line is described as a tribute to a decade of innovation and the global influence of its founder, Kylie Jenner.
The collection revisits some of the brand’s hero products while introducing updated formulas. It is available with a selective distribution in Asia Pacific and European travel retail.
The King Kylie Collection pays homage to the brand’s 2015 debut with the original Matte Lip Kit, which helped define the brand’s then direct-to-consumer beauty model. Since then, and following the 51% majority stake acquisition by Coty, Kylie Cosmetics has expanded into over 50 countries and diversified its portfolio across colour cosmetics, skincare and fragrance.
The line comprises the King Kylie Eyeshadow Palette, Supple Kiss Lip Glazes, Matte Lip Kits and a Loose Powder Highlighter with clean, vegan and cruelty-free formulas.
The King Kylie Eyeshadow Palette (US$35) is presented in a California licence plate-inspired design. It features ten multidimensional shimmer and wet-look shades inspired by Jenner’s ever-changing hair colours. The palette combines pigmented and sheer finishes with blendable, buildable textures.
The King Kylie Matte Lip Kit (US$36) marks the return of the brand’s original best-selling duo. Four limited-edition shades – A Decade, Kylie Jenner Lips, True Brown K and Dead of Knight – combine liquid lipstick and liner for a long-lasting eight-hour matte finish.
The Supple Kiss Lip Glaze (US$21) reimagines Kylie’s first lip glosses with a lightweight, cushion texture powered by Bouncy-Wrap Tech. The technology features a blend of emollients that envelope the lips in a gel-like glaze. Available in three shades – Like, Literally and She’s Back – the gloss delivers up to 12 hours of hydration and shine.
Completing the collection, the King Kylie Loose Powder Highlighter (US$26) offers a pearlescent glow inspired by the brand’s 2017 highlighter. It is a silky, light-reflecting powder with the hero shade 3 Strikes available in warm champagne.
