CYPRUS. Cyprus Duty Free has reinforced its focus on exclusivity and sense of place with the launch of several newly commissioned spirits exclusives, further strengthening its private label proposition at Larnaca and Pafos international airports.

The launches in Cyprus Duty Free stores include an aged Zivania (50cl), the traditional Cypriot spirit registered as a Protected Geographical Indication and produced from local Xynisteri and Mavro grape varieties, matured in oak barrels.
Also joining the range is Silky Crown Cream Liqueur (70cl), a blended cream and whiskey-based liqueur, alongside a PGI-certified Ouzo (70cl) produced from grape pomace and aromatic spices.

The latest releases are rounded out by an Arak (70cl) expression, which has a Middle Eastern heritage characterised by an anise-led flavour profile derived from grape pomace distillation.
The products have been developed in collaboration with local and artisan producers as part of Cyprus Duty Free’s ongoing investment in exclusive, destination-specific retail experiences.

Cyprus Duty Free General Manager Andrew Baker said: “We are proud to create an experience at Cyprus Duty Free that is truly unique, right down to the products on our shelves. Sense of place isn’t just something we say, it’s the experience we deliver and constantly elevate across our stores.
“Our team do a fantastic job at championing the best of Cyprus, working with local producers to create premium products that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

“We have big plans to further enhance our range of specially commissioned products over the coming year and look forward to continuing to celebrate unique Cypriot heritage at Cyprus Duty Free.” ✈
