Davidoff Cigars launches Chinese Year of the Monkey limited edition

To celebrate the Chinese Year of the Monkey, Davidoff Cigars will be introducing an exclusive 2016 limited edition line and ashtray.

The Special Toro cigar with pigtail, said to be regarded by connoisseurs as the most majestic cigar shape, comes with an Ecuadoran Habano Rojiza wrapper which holds a blend of Nicaraguan, Mexican, Dominican and Peruvian tobaccos. The cigars are distinguished by the second ring which features an image of a monkey.

Limited supply: only 8,500 boxes of the Year of the Monkey edition have been created (Hover over the image with our unique Moodie Magnifier to view in greater detail)

Featuring sweet and peppery notes of roasted bread, fruit and cream, Davidoff recommends enjoying the cigar over a long period of time.

The exclusive line, featuring 8,500 boxes only, comprises ten cigars presented in a hand-crafted bamboo wooden box, featuring a laser engraving which is shaped and designed to reflect the aesthetic origins of Chinese culture. Said to epitomise integrity and tenacity, bamboo represents the same values as a Davidoff cigar smoker, said the brand.
