DDFS has listed a wide selection of Butlers’ best selling travel retail lines, including a range of floral ballotins |
INDIA. Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS) has launched Butlers Chocolates in its duty free stores at the new Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3. This is the premium Irish chocolatier’s first foray into the Indian market.
DDFS has listed a wide selection of Butlers’ best selling travel retail lines, including the travel retail exclusive Butlers Premium Collection and Butlers floral ballotins which launched earlier this year. This range is selling “extremely well” and passengers have embraced the new brand, DDFS said.
Aer Rianta International Purchasing Director Stuart Rourke said: “DDFS is pleased to introduce Butlers Chocolates to our range. The summer collection has performed very well, as have the travel retail exclusive promotion packs. With this new addition to our range we are further looking to improving our sales with focused promotion activity as our customers, especially in Arrivals, have commented on our complete confectionery range as outstanding for India.
“As a category we can see great potential for future growth with the support from our suppliers and the Butlers Chocolates brand has been very well received by all our customers.”
Butlers Chocolates Sales Director Karl Marnane added: “We were thrilled with the reaction to our products in Delhi Duty Free and are looking forward to further developing the range over the rest of this year and to focus on the forthcoming Diwali and Christmas holiday period to maximise our sales.”
Butlers Chocolates will be present at the TFWA World Exhibition (Stand number: Mediterranean Village N17).
