INTERNATIONAL. Miami-based Duty Free Air & Ship Supply has been appointed to handle worldwide distribution of skincare brand SK-II for the airline business.
SK-II is one of the hottest beauty brands in Asia Pacific, but to date has inflight distribution only on board Singapore Airlines (for which DFASS is the concessionaire), Silkair and Cathay Pacific.
DFASS Group Vice President John Garner told The Moodie Report: “This is a big step for us, and a big step for the brand. We’re already in advanced discussions to take SK-II on board a number of other leading carriers in Asia Pacific. We are also looking to recruit a divisional head to manage the business for us, based in Singapore.”
