DFS Group granted ten-year extension to Honolulu International Airport duty free and retail concessions

USA. DFS Group has been granted a ten-year extension to its retail and duty free concessions at Honolulu International Airport.

DFS said: “Within the past year, and in accordance with Hawaii law, DFS and other airport concessionaires negotiated extensions to their concession contracts at Honolulu International Airport (HIA). DFS was granted a 10-year extension to its retail and duty free concessions at HIA.

“As part of the contract extensions, DFS and other airport concessionaires pledged to make various improvements at HIA that will serve to enhance the traveller experience and increase revenues to support Hawaii’s public airport system.

“Hawaii has been an important part of DFS’ business for more than 50 years. Together with other members of the Airports Concessionaires Committee and the Hawaii Department of Transportation, DFS looks forward to continuing to improve the experience of travellers to Honolulu International Airport in support of Hawaii’s economy.”
