UAE. Dubai Airports has secured two honours at Dubai Quality Group’s Ideas Arabia International Awards, underlining its focus on digital innovation and accessibility across airport operations.
The company collected the Digitisation and AI Integration in Health & Safety and the Accessible & Inclusive Travel for People of Determination Guests awards.
The health and safety accolade acknowledges Dubai Airports’ deployment of a fully digitised risk management ecosystem, supported by AI-enabled refresher training and virtual-reality learning programmes.
The initiative is designed to strengthen safety performance while enhancing the experience for both passengers and employees.
The accessibility win highlights progress under the ‘DXB for All’ programme, which aims to position Dubai International (DXB) as the world’s most accessible airports by 2035.
Developed in partnership with the People of Determination community, the initiative focuses on improving accessibility and creating a more inclusive passenger journey across the airport environment.
The awards were presented under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
Dubai Airports said the awards reflect the collaborative efforts of the ‘oneDXB’ community and reinforce the operator’s commitment to innovation, accessibility and operational excellence. ✈
