AFRICA. Dufry has promoted Miguel Angel Martinez to Chief Operating Officer of the Region Africa, a stronghold for the Swiss travel retailer.
He took over the position on 1 March. In his new function he will be responsible for all African operations in Tunisia, Ghana, Morocco and Ivory Coast.
Miguel Angel Martinez joined the Dufry Group last May in the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer Region Africa and General Manager Dufry Tunisia.
Global Chief Operating Officer José Antonio Gea commented: “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Miguel Angel to this new assignment and are delighted to add his experience to our management team.”
