UK. To mark its 100th anniversary this year, BAT-owned brand Dunhill has created three limited-edition cigarette blends, all of which were on display at the recent Singapore travel retail exhibition.
British American Tobacco Insights and Category Manager Asia Pacific Travel Retail James Li explained the origins of the new blends: “Dunhill has a proud heritage, which began in 1907, of developing and blending tobacco for each of their customers. This grew into a remarkable 33,000 recipes that were recorded in a volume titled My Mixture Book.
“Inspired by this, Dunhill has created three special-edition blends which are available in limited-edition packaging throughout selected duty free outlets and airlines.” Li continued.

These three distinct products will run alongside the current blends but will offer smokers the opportunity to celebrate this centenary by experiencing three new distinct tastes, say BAT.
My Mixture No.16 – Mediterranean
Dunhill’s blenders have selected a balance from Greece, Turkey and Macedonia to create a mellow, multi-layered mixture.
My Mixture No.33 – Bahia
Bahia is a more exotic tobacco characterised by the rich, dark noted of the Brazilian Bahia tobacco.
My Mixture No.85 – Fire-Cured
The fire-cured blend has a smoky flavour tempered with mellower tobaccos, reminiscent of blends first crafted in the original London store.
The Tribute blends feature fresh packaging with a contemporary design that reflect the modern blending, while at the same time marking the sense of history by containing a feature image of the original My Mixture book.

The blends are available in two presentations: a 100-cigarette cube, including five packs of a single blend and a 180-cigarette special-edition gift box which includes three packs of each of the three blends.
