Elemis enters fragrance sector with debut Eau de Parfum

Elemis Eau de Parfum, the brand’s debut scent

UK. As previously reported, British skincare and spa brand Elemis is to unveil its debut feminine fragrance in April. The creation of Elemis Eau de Parfum dovetails with the brand’s 20th anniversary.

The scent – described as exuberant and aromatic – combines the notes that Elemis has gathered from across the globe for its distinctive therapies. The juice opens on notes of zesty Elemi and sweet grasses. The heart combines vetiver and a marine accord; the base is a blend of patchouli, gaiac wood and oak moss.

“For two decades, Elemis has collected and utilised active aromas that allow your spirits to soar to help you to feel more grounded – fragrant notes that act like doorways through which one can escape into another world, address real pleasure in life, or simply luxuriate in the moment,” explained Director of Product & Treatment Development Noella Gabriel.

“At the same time, Elemis has been educating and cultivating its clients “˜noses’ in a journey of fragrance to appreciate, apply and enjoy this knowledge on a daily basis.”

She added: “Elemis has pioneered the power of “˜the breath’ and what you breathe is a form of therapy in itself. Having shared such a sophisticated level of understanding, the time is right to offer a beautiful, multi-faceted fragrance that creates an individual harmony on every skin. Something that completes the Elemis experience and at the same time, moves you forward each and every time you wear it.”

Elemis Eau de Parfum is presented in a minimalist, rectangular flacon, which in turn nestles in a turquoise velvet bag, said to be ideal for travel. The recommended domestic price point is £35 for 28ml.

In other news, Elemis is poised to introduce a 20th Anniversary Limited Edition 100ml Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, supporting the Mothers4Children charity.

Founded by Lisa B and Yasmin Le Bon, Mothers4Children identifies and supports existing charitable organisations, currently Kids Company, which helps disadvantaged UK children, and F.R.O.D.O, the foundation for relief of disabled orphans in Russia.

The limited-edition super-size of Elemis’ number one best-seller across the globe will feature a celebratory 20 Years of Excellence engraved lid.

It will be available from 31 May until 27 June, at a domestic recommended retail price of £99 (a saving of £51). £1 from every sale will be donated to Mothers4Children.
