AUSTRALIA. Australian jewellery supplier Equss premiered its Rêve pendant collection at the TFWA World Exhibition in October.
Rêve (the French word for dream) comprises a sterling silver setting with a combination of Swarovski crystals and brightly coloured resins. The pieces are described as “dream-like, youthful and young at heart”.
Each design provides a selection of colours to suit different personalities. Designs include hearts, raindrops, diamonds, flowers and lizards in colours such as pink, blue and white.
“The lizard pendants are one of the most admired pieces so far at the show. The retail price is US$89,” said Equss Managing Director Alex Chaves.
Because of their large size and bright colours, the new pieces are proving particularly popular among Middle Eastern customers, as well as Americans and Europeans, he said.
