Estée Lauder makes a splash with new Pleasures Aqua scent

The fragrance and packaging aim to offer an escape to a place where flowers are carried away on waves

Estée Lauder has released a line extension of its bestselling Pleasures fragrance. Limited edition Aqua Pleasures is rolling out this month to global travel retail locations.

Inspired by the pleasure of escaping to a place where the sky meets the sea and the scent of fresh flowers intermingles with ocean air, Pleasures Aqua is a watery floral scent. The juice opens with a dewy top note composed of honeysuckle, freesia, leafy greens and water accord before building to a heart of lilac and jasmine blossoms and peony petals. The dry down includes musks and ambrox.

Pleasures Aqua is housed in the same bottle silhouette as the original fragrance but with a transparent water-inspired custom blue hue and a silver-tone cap and collar. The exterior packaging features a print expressing the heart of the fragrance.

Estée Lauder Senior Vice President Corporate Fragrance Development Worldwide Karyn Khoury said: “Nature has always been the dynamic inspiration for Estée Lauder’s Pleasures collection. With Pleasures Aqua, we bring a new sensation and scent experience to the portfolio. Taking inspiration from an invigorating, refreshing escape to water, we have created an evocative and appealing watery floral scent which combines the signature pleasures femininity and joy of nature with the transportive qualities of water.”
