USA. Duty free wholesaler and retailer Fairn & Swanson (F&S) has appointed Joel Sjostrom as Chief Executive Officer, effective 13 March. He succeeds Achim Fritzen and will be based in Oakland, California.
Sjostrom brings to F&S more than 25 years of hospitality and specialty retail experience. He has served as Senior Director, Operations at Old Navy of Gap Inc; Vice President, Retail Operations for Peet’s Coffee & Tea and most recently as President and CEO of Metropolitan Coffee & Concession.
Sjostrom will be available to meet and interact with customers at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas next week.
