LUXEMBOURG. Ferrero will present a new snack-size pouch from Kinder at the TFWA World Exhibition next week (Stand number: Green Village J35).
The new Kinder Friends 250g pouch, which will be exclusive to travel retail, contains bite-size Kinder Bueno, Kinder Chocolate, Kinder Country and Schoko-Bons.
The launch, which was a response to the increased demand for snacking products in travel retail, follows the success of the Kinder Schoko-Bons bag.
Ferrero Travel Market Marketing Manager Serge van Wijck said: “As more and more airlines cut their onboard meal offer and the airports demand earlier check-in times, we are finding that there is greater demand for snacks and chocolate bars in the terminals.
“We already offer a good selection of Kinder cereal and chocolate bars in singles and multi-packs. However, the Schoko-Bons bag is proving so successful in travel retail with all ages that we decided to add a Kinder mixed pouch to the range.”
The easy-to-carry, brightly coloured Kinder Friends pouch will retail at around €6.50.
