UAE. A businessman from India who recently purchased his first Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire ticket has been named as the promotion’s newest winner.
The latest draws of both the Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise promotions were held today in Dubai International Airport Terminal 3. They were conducted by Executive Vice Chairman and CEO Colm McLoughlin, Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Cidambi, and Senior Vice President – Marketing Sinead El Sibai (pictured below).

Prabin Thomas, who purchased his Millennium Millionaire ticket online, runs a networking business that sells IT products in Kerala. “I will expand my networking business and probably start a small software company,” he said of his initial plans for the US$1 million prize.
Afzaan Jilla, an Indian national based in Dubai, was victorious in the Finest Surprise draw. He will take home a BMW R Nine T Urban GS luxury motorbike. He works for MEIAC as Administrator Manager and is a self-confessed biker – he has bought tickets for the Finest Surprise motorbike draw for over six years.
“I’m so happy, really I almost gave up after trying for the longest time. Winning today has restored my faith in the raffle draw,” he said.
