Morpho Travel Experience has this week released a film as part of its sustainability campaign. It highlights three of the retailer’s ongoing initiatives: For The People, For The World and For The Oceans.
The film showcases key projects including Comunidad Latinoamericana de Artesanos, through which Morpho works directly with over 35 artisans from Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Chile; and Bring It Back, which encourages consumers to return plastic bottles to its stores.
In the last 22 years, Morpho has made its mark as an innovative travel retailer in Latin America & Caribbean. It works with airports, resorts and hotels through brands such as Rumbo, Casa Tica and Emprende 52. The retailer is now aiming to expand its foothold as a food & beverage concessionaire.

The Costa Rican company’s long-term sustainability commitments are based on the 17 goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. Morpho Travel Experience Sustainability Coordinator Jesús Jiménez Valverde remarked: “Our commitment is with the people, the world and the oceans. That means taking action with creative initiatives to involve circular economy in the supply chain, and step up green and social innovations in our experiences.
“Thinking about a sustainability strategy is thinking about the future, not just for our business and our planet, but also for our everyday life and future generations.” ✈
‘Pura vida’ – A captivating Costa Rican experience I have not just been on location here but have undergone a full immersion in the culture and tourism highlights of Costa Rica.
