Fragrance takes centre stage for L’OCCITANE Travel Retail at TFWA Exhibition in Cannes

L’OCCITANE Travel Retail will showcase new fragrance and gifting innovations from Sol de Janeiro and L’Occitane en Provence at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes (27 September – 1 October).

Sol de Janeiro’s Intense Perfume Mist collection will be a core focus. It offers up to ten hours of scent, comprising Cheirosa 62 Intense, Cheirosa 59 Intense, Cheirosa 91 Intense and Cheirosa 74 Intense.

As reported, Sol de Janeiro said the new Intense Perfume Mist format was developed to address demand for deeper, longer-lasting fragrances. All four fragrances are centred on a solar ambery accord.

According to the brand, one Cheirosa Perfume Mist is sold every second worldwide.

Sol de Janeiro will also preview Cheiroso 7 and Cheiroso 10, a pair of Cologne Mists for men scheduled for a January 2027 launch. The masculine fragrances use technology activated by body heat and movement to help neutralise unwanted odours and release scent throughout the day.

The launches build on Sol de Janeiro’s Make Life Cheirosa summer campaign, which  ran across more than 50 airports and 600 travel retail doors worldwide through pop-ups, digital activity, gifting and in-store displays. The brand’s upcoming Holiday collection will also be presented in Cannes.

Turning up the intensity: The Cheirosa 59, 62, 74 and 91 Intense Perfume Mists all share a solar ambery accord across gourmand and floral scent profiles

L’Occitane en Provence will preview the expansion of its Amande Sublime Mist collection ahead of its October travel retail launch.

Amande Pistache combines roasted pistachio, vanilla and cedarwood, while Amande Crème Brûlée brings together roasted almond, vanilla milk and caramel. They join the floral Amande Délice fragrance in a range designed for layering.

L’Occitane en Provence used NaturePrint technology to capture the character of roasted almonds and pistachios, drawing inspiration from Founder Olivier Baussan’s confectioneries in Haute-Provence.

L’Occitane en Provence will also present its Holiday collection as it marks the brand’s 50th anniversary.

The ‘Make Life Cheirosa’ campaign combined immersive experiences, digital engagement, travel-exclusive (TREX) offers and striking media placements. Pictured is the pop-up at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport with Extime Duty Free. Click here for our full story.
