FRANCE. Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has announced that Managing Director Franck Waechter (right) has left his role.
TFWA thanked him for his time with the association and wished him well in his future endeavours.
In a statement, TFWA President Sarah Branquinho said: “TFWA’s strategic priorities remain unchanged as it builds on its heritage as the industry’s leading platform, developing and adapting to ensure that it continues to deliver value for its members, and for the duty-free and travel retail industry as a whole.
“We are confident in the strength and experience of TFWA’s team to continue implementing TFWA’s plans; an announcement on the future leadership of the permanent staff will be made in due course.”
She added, “Until new leadership of the permanent staff is in place, please refer all matters to the relevant member of the TFWA team, or to Emilie Vin (e.vin@tfwa.com) who will forward the email to the appropriate member of the Board or to the President.” ✈
