WALES, UK. The Moodie Davitt Report today announces the funeral details for Sinead Moodie, our dearly beloved former colleague who passed away on 1 February after a courageous fight against cancer.
Sinead was the daughter of company Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie and sister of Head of Digital Delivery Declan Moodie.
Sinead will be laid to rest on Monday 23 February at Gorof Cemetry in South Wales, near the family home in Ystradgynlais. The ceremony and post-funeral reception will be held at nearby Craig y Nos Castle, a beautiful place much loved by Sinead and her husband Adrian.
In keeping with her wishes, those not attending the ceremony are asked instead of flowers to consider a donation to Sinead’s #KickCancerThon* page in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Guests attending the funeral are asked to bring seeds or a small plant to be grown in the family garden – a living reminder of Sinead’s love of nature and life.

Sinead was diagnosed in early July 2025 with Stage 4 Nut Carcinoma lung cancer, a rare and ultra-aggressive form of the disease.
She was subsequently treated with immense compassion and skill by the dedicated medical and care team at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London and various Welsh hospitals.

In her August Blog, Sinead wrote about her condition and her determination not to let this terrible diagnosis define her – “Cancer may not believe in karma, but I will make my own”.
This led to an astounding outpouring of travel retail industry support for her fight against the disease after she launched #KickCancerThon*, a ‘global + local’ fundraising and visibility campaign for cancer research and treatment worldwide. Sinead passed on the very day (1 February), the campaign officially launched.
In her memory, #KickCancerThon will continue throughout the weeks ahead. Click here for the latest update of the international efforts, which to date have raised almost US$200,000 for various cancer causes.
If you would like to support Sinead’s memory and chosen cause, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, we have created a dedicated #KickCancerThon page.
The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said, “We ask that the travel retail and aviation community continue their support for #KickCancerThon, a project that inspired Sinead to her final breath. In her name, let’s continue the fight against this blight named cancer that affects so many of us.”
Sinead is survived by her husband Adrian Miller, children Carys (5) and Iwan (3), father Martin and his wife Yu Lim, mother Sheraton, brother Declan and his partner Lizzie, brother Ali and sister Samira (Sami), niece Flora, father-in-law Terry, sister-in-law Naomi, sister-in-kind Helen and wider loving family.💔
