Godiva to showcase seasonal chocolate gifts at Singapore fair

Origins is a limited-edition assortment of origin chocolate from Uganda, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Ecuador

Belgian chocolate brand Godiva Chocolatier has elevated its portfolio with exclusive new collections which will be showcased at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in May (Stand number: H2).

The company will present the Origins limited-edition collection as well as new seasonal collections for Christmas and Chinese New Year.

Speaking about travel retail, Godiva said its Asia Pacific business had shown positive growth year-on-year. Together with the “rapid domestic development” in the region, especially in China, the company plans to continue reinforcing its leadership position in premium confectionery by product innovation, new shop/fixture design and innovative trade marketing programmes.

During 2012, Godiva will continue to roll out its new travel retail store concept worldwide including distinctive fixtures for boutiques and shop-in-shops.

The new design direction is described as a contemporary interpretation of the brand, “marrying European luxury with the Belgian heritage of Godiva”. The result is a clean and elegant with a warm look and feel, according to the firm.

Materials used in-store are “luxurious and rich with details inspired by the Art Nouveau style, strongly associated with Brussels, and combined with a modern twist”, it noted.

For Christmas 2012, Godiva offers a selection of gifts, ideal for Christmas or year-end celebrations, the company said. Its festive design, inspired by creative paper craft art, aims to reflect Godiva’s commitment to luxury and craftsmanship.
