USA. Local restaurant operator Goldberg’s Deli has partnered with the Atlanta Braves to open an outlet themed around the famous baseball team at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The Atlanta Braves All-Star Grill opened on 18 April and had its official ribbon cutting ceremony on 30 May. Covering 1,500sq ft, the restaurant features a replica Turner Field (the baseball park where the Braves play) look, complete with a brick façade bar, leather glove booths and dugout bench seating.
Braves memorabilia and graphics are also featured throughout the restaurant and Braves merchandise is available for customers to purchase.

Goldberg’s Concessions Corporation Chairman and CEO Wayne Saxe said: “We are honoured to be part of the best airport concessions programme in the country, at the busiest airport in the world.
“It is exciting to partner with the most beloved sports team in Atlanta and bring a signature local flavour that will add to the experience of travellers passing through Atlanta.”
The restaurant can seat 50 people and one of the standout dishes on the menu is the Bases Loaded Foot Long Hot Dog – with chilli, coleslaw, relish, onions, cheese and jalapeños. It is also the only place outside of Turner Field where patrons can get a Tomahawk Ale.
“We were in the unique position to partner with one of Atlanta’s most popular restaurants,” said Braves Executive Vice President of Business Operations Mike Plant.
“This is a fantastic way to extend our brand to Braves fans coming and going through Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, the busiest airport in the world.”
