Goldkenn targets gifting and younger travellers with cocktail chocolate and Kids Gold Collection revamp

SWITZERLAND. Swiss chocolate house Goldkenn is set to introduce two cocktail-inspired chocolate tablets and a redesigned Kids Gold Collection, including two travel retail-exclusive (TREX) formats, as it targets gifting and younger consumers.

The new products will be presented at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Stand D10, Blue Village).

Cocktail time: Goldkenn expands its chocolate-and-spirits offer with new Mojito and Margarita tablets, created in partnership with two leading spirits brands

Goldkenn’s new 100g Cocktail range comprises Margarita and Mojito variants, developed in collaboration with Cointreau and Mount Gay Rum, respectively.

Both combine Swiss milk chocolate with liquid cocktail-inspired fillings and will be available from October.

The Margarita tablet features a liquid centre crafted with Cointreau, while the Mojito expression pairs milk chocolate with a liquid filling created alongside Mount Gay Rum.

The partnerships extend Goldkenn’s established strategy of combining its chocolate expertise with international spirits brands.

Made for the journey: Goldkenn’s playful Private Jet and Vintage Camera tins combine Swiss chocolate with travel-inspired gifting

Packaging takes cues from chalkboard cocktail menus, with the design intended to provide clear product recognition and strong shelf visibility across travel retail and domestic markets.

Alongside the Cocktail range, Goldkenn is undertaking a complete redesign of its Kids Gold Collection, replacing the existing tin portfolio with five new collector formats.

Each contains Swiss milk chocolate coins shaped like authentic 2 and 5 Swiss franc pieces.

Three products – Mini Safe (100g), Racing Car (120g) and Designer Bag (120g) – will be offered across domestic and travel retail markets.

Golden opportunities: The Racing Car, Designer Bag and Mini Safe turn Goldkenn’s Swiss milk chocolate into eye-catching keepsakes designed to live on beyond the confectionery occasion

The tins are designed for reuse as piggy banks, extending their role beyond the confectionery purchase into keepsake gifting.

Two further designs have been created exclusively for travel retail. The Private Jet (120g) uses a colourful aviation-inspired format, while the Vintage Camera (100g) is positioned around travel memories and collectability.

The two designs introduce brighter colours against Goldkenn’s signature gold aesthetic.

The revamped collection, available from Q4 2026, forms part of Goldkenn’s strategy to broaden its appeal among travelling families and different generations of consumers.

The company said it has also reduced plastic use across the range where possible. ‍
