French beauty house Guerlain, part of LVMH Group, has extended its Abeille Royale franchise with the Clarify & Repair collection. It comprises the Clarify & Repair Double Essence and Anti-Dark Spot Clarify & Repair Cream.
The Cream is now available across Guerlain’s full distribution, while the Essence is only available in Guerlain Ultimate doors. Both products will launch in Asia Pacific travel retail in April.
The collection is centred on Kiawe white honey, which is known to reduce melanin production, clarify the skin and lessen dullness and uneven skin tones. It has also been infused with Vitamin C and AHA. Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that protects the skin from environmental aggressors, while AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) allows for greater skin diffusion and peeling.
Like other products in the Abeille Royale range, both are made with Guerlain’s Black Bee Repair technology. This potent complex combines Black Bee honey from Ouessant, France with three other honeys from Corsica (France), Ikara (Greece) and Åland (Finland).
The Abeille Royale Clarify & Repair Double Essence is the first step of the ritual and is made with 93% naturally derived ingredients. Clinical studies have revealed that the brightening concentrate effectively corrects eight skin clarity issues after eight weeks of use. These include luminosity, smoothness, the appearance of pores, grain fineness, skin bounce, wrinkles, elasticity and firmness.
The Abeille Royale Clarify & Repair Cream is made with 93% naturally derived ingredients and offers a cream gel texture. It has been clinically proven to boost radiance, firmness and skin elasticity after eight weeks of use.
The Double Essence is housed in a recyclable glass bottle made from 15% recycled material; while the cream comes in an eco-designed refillable jar made with 20%-40% recyclable glass. ✈
